I believe it’s never too late to laugh, learn, and discover something new. Throughout my career, I’ve seen how a supportive environment can transform confidence, whether someone is learning to use technology for the first time or simply rediscovering the joy of laughter.

I created The Laughing Co. because I wanted to bring people together through meaningful experiences that inspire connection, curiosity, and personal growth.

My goal is simple: to help every participant leave feeling more confident, more connected, and smiling a little brighter than when they arrived.

I look forward to welcoming you to one of our workshops!

Anila Patel

Founder & Workshop Facilitator

Our Story

Every great journey begins with a simple idea.

The Laughing Co. was created from a passion for helping people feel connected, confident, and inspired to keep learning throughout every stage of life. I believe that learning should be enjoyable, welcoming, and accessible to everyone.

Throughout my career in technology, education, and workshop facilitation, I’ve witnessed how the right environment can transform confidence. Whether someone is learning to use a smartphone, exploring Artificial Intelligence, or rediscovering the joy of laughter, growth happens when people feel encouraged, supported, and free to ask questions.

That’s the experience I strive to create in every workshop.

Our mission is to connect individuals and communities through shared experiences of laughter, learning, and discovery.

We create opportunities for adults and seniors to build confidence, foster meaningful connections, and thrive at every stage of life.

We envision communities where adults and seniors continue to laugh, learn, and grow with confidence.

Our goal is to create welcoming spaces where lifelong learning strengthens relationships, reduces social isolation, and empowers people to embrace new opportunities with curiosity and joy.
